They tried to divide us as North and South, to weaken and defeat us, and to redraw India’s political map for their own gain. But #INDIA stood together and defeated their design. This is only the beginning.
The blows the BJP will face in the coming days must be far more decisive. For that, we must continue to stand united as one Opposition.

Raja, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Akhilesh Yadav, Sharad Pawar, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Jharkhand's Hemant Soren, Omar Abdullah, Arvind Kejriwal, Uddhav Thackeray, Odisha's Naveen Patnaik and Sukhbir Singh Badal - for opposing the BJP's delimitation bill. Stalin said the BJP had attempted to push the bill through without consultation or consensus, and accused it of trying to divide the country along North-South lines to weaken the opposition and redraw India's political map for its own gain. He credited the united stand of the INDIA bloc for defeating this effort, describing it as "only the beginning," and called for continued unity to inflict more decisive setbacks on the BJP going forward. This reflects the DMK's federalism-centred campaign narrative during the 2026 Tamil Nadu election period.
