M.K. Stalin thanked Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge for his speech backing the DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance at a Hosur election rally, also referencing Rahul Gandhi's campaign speech a day earlier. He described the NDA as a threat to state rights and predicted the alliance would win over 200 seats in the 2026 Tamil Nadu election.

"Don’t think you are alone. The entire country is standing behind you.” Thank you, respected Thiru. @Kharge avare, for your stirring and impactful speech in defence of democracy and in support of our Secular Progressive Alliance at Hosur.
Brother @RahulGandhi’s powerful speech yesterday and yours today have greatly energised our alliance cadre.
As early as April 17, the NDA stood decisively rejected in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu stands protected from the divisive BJP only because of the DMK government. Only the continuation of the #DravidianModel can ensure this protection continues.
The NDA is a destructive force that seeks to erase state rights, regional parties, and our distinct identities.
We will win over 200 seats. We will protect our people from the threat facing Tamil Nadu.
M.K. Stalin thanked Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge for what he called a 'stirring and impactful' speech in support of the DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance at a campaign event in Hosur, also crediting Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's speech the previous day for energising alliance cadre. Stalin claimed the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) had been 'decisively rejected' in Tamil Nadu as of April 17, and argued that the DMK government was the reason the state remained protected from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), describing continuation of the 'Dravidian Model' of governance as essential to that protection. He characterised the NDA as a force seeking to erase state rights, regional parties and distinct regional identities, and predicted the alliance would win more than 200 seats in the 2026 Tamil Nadu assembly election. The post is part of Stalin's campaign messaging ahead of the polls, combining alliance solidarity with a broader argument about federalism and state autonomy.
