M.K. Stalin criticized the NEET medical entrance exam after this year's edition was cancelled due to a paper leak, calling the exam itself 'a scam.' He demanded MBBS seats be allotted based on Plus Two (12th standard) marks instead of a re-conducted NEET, and urged the new Tamil Nadu government to continue the previous government's legal efforts seeking exemption from NEET.

#NEET – Never Been Neat:
@CMOTamilnadu

M.K. Stalin criticized the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) after this year's exam was cancelled following reports of a paper leak, calling the recurring irregularities proof that 'NEET itself is a scam.' He argued that lakhs of students face mental distress each year due to flaws at every stage of the exam process, and said the NEET system, which he described as endangering students' lives, futures, and the state's medical education framework, should be abolished. Stalin said re-conducting the exam would only delay students' higher education plans, and called instead for MBBS seat allocation based on Plus Two (12th standard) marks. He urged the newly formed Tamil Nadu government to declare a firm stance against NEET and to continue the previous DMK government's legal efforts seeking an exemption for Tamil Nadu from the exam, tagging the Chief Minister's Office.
