நேர்த்தியான கோட்டோவியர் என்பதோடு அனிமேஷன் எனப்படும் இயங்குபடக் கலை, கணினி வரைகலை ஆகியவற்றிலும் தொடர்ந்து இயங்கி வந்த அவரது ஆற்றலைப் பயன்படுத்திக் கொள்ளும் விதத்தில் தமிழ்நாடு அரசு திரைப்பட மற்றும் தொலைக்காட்சி பயிற்சி நிறுவனத் தலைவராக நமது திராவிட மாடல் அரசில் அவரை நியமித்தோம். 2023-ஆம் ஆண்டு நமது அரசின் செய்தித்துறை வெளியிட்ட இலக்கிய மலரிலும் டிராட்ஸ்கி மருது அவர்கள் பங்களித்திருந்தார்.
தமிழ் மன்னர்கள் உண்மையில் எப்படி இருந்திருப்பார்கள் என்பதை வெளிப்படுத்தும் ஆர்வத்துடனும், அதுவரை இருந்து வந்த தவறான மனச்சித்திரங்களைக் கலைத்துப் போடும் வகையிலும் அவர் கொண்டு வந்த வாளோர் ஆடும் அமலை போன்ற பங்களிப்புகளால் தமிழர் வரலாற்றுக்கும் அவர் பெரும் பங்காற்றியுள்ளார்.

DMK president M.K. Stalin congratulated artist and animator Trotsky Marudu on receiving the 2025 A. Muthulingam Iyal Award from the Tamil Literary Garden, an organisation based in Canada. Stalin noted Marudu's work as a skilled illustrator and his contributions to animation and computer graphics, and recalled that the previous DMK government had appointed him chairman of the Tamil Nadu Film and Television Institute in recognition of these skills. He said Marudu had also contributed to a literary volume brought out by the state's Information Department in 2023. Stalin praised Marudu's efforts to portray historically accurate depictions of Tamil kings, correcting what he described as previously mistaken popular imagery, and said the award was fitting recognition for his lifetime contributions bridging Tamil heritage with contemporary artistic thought.
