M.K. Stalin visited the office of Murasoli, describing the DMK party newspaper as the 'heartbeat of party comrades' and a 'diary of Tamil Nadu's political history,' on the occasion of its 85th anniversary. He noted that the publication, started by party founder-leader Kalaignar (M. Karunanidhi), was subsequently nurtured by Murasoli Maran and later Murasoli Selvam. Stalin said he personally greeted the paper, which he called his 'elder brother,' on its anniversary, and noted he has performed nearly every kind of task associated with running it over the years. He contrasted Murasoli with other party publications that function merely as notice boards, describing it instead as carrying substantive articles, translations, Pongal special issues and camp-related content, and wished for its journey to continue beyond a century. The tweet, tagged #முரசொலி85 and #Murasoli, centres on an internal party institution's milestone rather than a government policy matter.
