Speaking to party workers, Stalin dismissed political attempts by critics to question his historical sacrifices, asserting that his personal record and enduring public service speak for themselves.

Stalin was arrested and subjected to harsh custodial conditions in Chennai Central Prison following the dismissal of the DMK state government during the Emergency. The address underscored that his political journey was forged through personal sacrifice, reinforcing his enduring loyalty to democratic principles and Dravidian ideological values across five decades of public service.

Sharing video footage from the convention, Stalin framed his imprisonment as enduring proof of courage in the face of autocracy. He reminded party cadre that the DMK has repeatedly resisted authoritarian overreach to safeguard Tamil Nadu's rights, urging the next generation of workers to remain steadfast in defending constitutional democracy and standing firmly with the people through every political challenge that lies ahead in the coming state elections.
