அதனால்தான் சமரசமின்றி, தொடக்கம் முதலே “NEET ஒழிப்பே நிரந்தரத் தீர்வு!” என்று போராடி வருகிறோம்.
அந்த இலக்கோடு #BanNEET இயக்கத்தை முன்னெடுத்துள்ள நீட் எதிர்ப்புக் கூட்டியக்கம் – தமிழ்நாடு தோழர்களை இன்று சந்தித்து, அவர்களது கையெழுத்து இயக்கத்தில் கையெழுத்திட்டு என் ஆதரவைத் தெரிவித்தேன்.
இது அரசியல் வேறுபாடுகளைக் கடந்த, நம் மாணவர்களின் எதிர்காலத்துக்கான போராட்டம்.
எனவே, கழகத் தோழர்கள், இளைஞர்கள், மாணவர்கள் உள்ளிட்ட அனைவரும் இந்த இயக்கத்திற்கு ஆதரவளித்திட வேண்டும் எனக் கேட்டுக் கொள்கிறேன்.
DMK president M.K. Stalin formally backed the BanNEET signature campaign organized by the Joint Action Against NEET coalition in Tamil Nadu. Signing the petition during a meeting with coalition representatives, Stalin reaffirmed his longstanding stance that eliminating the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the only permanent solution to protect student welfare and family aspirations.
Stalin described the national exam not as a fair test of merit, but as a barrier that shatters student dreams and causes immense distress to families across the state. He emphasized that the struggle against NEET transcends partisan boundaries because it directly affects the educational opportunities of future generations.
Calling upon DMK cadre, youth wings, and student communities to actively endorse the signature campaign, Stalin urged broad public mobilization on the issue across every district. The DMK has persistently argued that centralized entrance examinations undermine state autonomy in education, severely disadvantage rural students, and bypass established state schooling curriculums. Stalin reaffirmed that Tamil Nadu must retain complete legislative authority over medical admissions, pledging that the party will sustain its campaign until the policy is definitively repealed.
