Citizens should voice own views for a strong TN and integral India. @Kalaignar89 @arivalayam
Marking the beginning of a historic democratic campaign on March 1, 2014, DMK Treasurer M. K. Stalin issued an inspiring call to the citizens of Tamil Nadu, urging them to fearlessly voice their opinions, concerns, and aspirations to build a prosperous, self-respecting Tamil Nadu and a robust, integral India. Tagging party president Dr. Kalaignar Karunanidhi and party headquarters Anna Arivalayam, Stalin emphasized that in a vibrant constitutional democracy, sovereignty belongs to the people, and silence in the face of misgovernance is not an option. He highlighted that true national integrity cannot be achieved through authoritarian uniformity, but through the harmonious strengthening of diverse linguistic and cultural states within a genuinely federal framework. Stalin pointed out that under the oppressive AIADMK administration, citizens' voices had been systematically stifled, peaceful protests criminalized, and state administration plunged into darkness. He called upon students, intellectuals, working people, and women to reject fear, participate actively in the electoral process, and demand democratic accountability from their leaders. Stalin pledged that the DMK will always stand as the fearless platform and protective fortress of the people's collective voice, fighting tirelessly for their democratic dignity, economic progress, and social justice.
