Editorial context

Leading a high-voltage campaign across Thanjavur parliamentary constituency on March 20, 2014, DMK Treasurer M. K. Stalin joined senior party leader, former Union Minister, and candidate T. R. Baalu to rally voters behind the Rising Sun symbol. Stalin shared compelling photographs capturing the massive public assemblies and enthusiastic roadside receptions greeting their joint campaign roadshow. Addressing large gatherings of paddy cultivators, agricultural laborers, small traders, and women self-help group members, Stalin highlighted Baalu's extraordinary national track record as Union Minister for Shipping, Road Transport and Highways, during which he spearheaded the historic Golden Quadrilateral highway network, modern four-lane delta expressways, and major bridge projects across the state. Stalin pointed out that while the DMK delivered tangible national infrastructure, the current AIADMK regime had plunged Thanjavur into darkness through chronic power blackouts and total neglect of irrigation infrastructure. He urged the electorate to elect Baalu with a decisive margin to ensure that the delta's developmental priorities are championed in Parliament. Stalin affirmed that the DMK remains the unwavering protector of Tamil Nadu's farmers and agrarian prosperity. He affirmed that transformative national infrastructure remains essential for unlocking regional economic growth.

This is an initiative of unofficial DMK and Dravidian Ideology supporter, a fan of Thanthai Periyar, Perarignar Anna and Kalaignar — not affiliated with any official DMK party or persons.
