Stalin criticized the AIADMK administration for its callous indifference to traditional fishing communities facing harassment by the Sri Lankan Navy and neglecting vital harbour dredging works. He promised that the DMK will ensure permanent maritime security, modern cold chain infrastructure, and expanded social welfare pensions for traditional fishers.
