Continuing his extensive campaign roadshow through the rural heartlands of Villupuram on March 24, 2014, DMK Treasurer M. K. Stalin reminded the villagers that previous DMK administrations had consistently prioritized rural infrastructure through the Anaithu Grama Anna Marumalarchi Thittam, concrete housing colonies, and free color television sets for family entertainment. He assured the rural families that the DMK will fight untiringly in Parliament to secure comprehensive rural development grants and protect agrarian livelihoods. Stalin urged the voters of Villupuram to translate their affection into a historic victory for the Rising Sun symbol. He affirmed that rural infrastructure development and drinking water security will always be prioritized.
