Editorial context

Leading a determined campaign across Coimbatore parliamentary constituency on March 27, 2014, DMK Treasurer M. K. Stalin rallied voters to secure an emphatic victory for DMK candidate Advocate K. Ganesh Kumar. Stalin highlighted Ganesh Kumar's long and distinguished record of dynamic public service, noting that as a dedicated former leader of the DMK Student Wing, he possessed the youthful energy, legal acumen, and ideological commitment needed to champion Coimbatore's developmental interests in Parliament. He pointed out that Coimbatore, long celebrated as the Manchester of South India, had suffered immense economic devastation under three years of the AIADMK regime due to crippling ten-hour power outages, bureaucratic corruption, and total neglect of industrial infrastructure. Stalin pledged that electing Ganesh Kumar would guarantee that Coimbatore's urgent priorities—including dedicated industrial power corridors, high-speed bypass roads, and technological modernization grants for MSMEs—are forcefully pursued in the Lok Sabha. He called upon industrialists, textile workers, students, and citizens to vote for the Rising Sun symbol to restore Coimbatore's premier industrial standing. He affirmed the DMK's commitment to urban progress. He affirmed that energetic youth representation remains essential for dynamic regional modernization.

This is an initiative of unofficial DMK and Dravidian Ideology supporter, a fan of Thanthai Periyar, Perarignar Anna and Kalaignar — not affiliated with any official DMK party or persons.
