Addressing a mammoth public gathering at Annur in Nilgiris parliamentary constituency on the night of March 28, 2014, DMK Treasurer M. K. He recalled the landmark developmental initiatives executed under previous DMK administrations led by Dr. Kalaignar Karunanidhi, including tea leaf price stabilization subsidies through INDCOSERVE, construction of modern rural roads, and extensive farm loan waivers. Stalin commended the exceptional parliamentary record of former Union Minister A. Raja, who secured transformative central investments for Nilgiris, including government medical college clearances and high-altitude road modernizations. He urged the electorate to reject corrupt ruling party promises and vote decisively for the Rising Sun symbol.
