Sharing inspiring visual records of grassroots political mobilization, DMK Treasurer M. K. Stalin on April 7, 2014, highlighted the extraordinary enthusiasm and disciplined organization demonstrated by DMK cadres and youth wing volunteers across Central Chennai. Stalin noted that thousands of dedicated party workers had turned every street corner and junction into a sea of red-and-black flags, passionately chanting slogans of victory and distributing policy literature to every passing citizen. He emphasized that the DMK's greatest strength has always been its dedicated cadre base, whose unshakeable ideological loyalty and grassroots connection form the backbone of the Dravidian movement. Stalin interacted with senior ward organizers, veteran freedom fighters, and young first-time campaigners, thanking them for their selfless service and relentless campaign drive under the scorching April sun. He observed that this palpable grassroots energy signaled a decisive political wave against both state misrule and national majoritarianism. Stalin urged party workers to maintain this momentum until every single vote was safely cast on the Rising Sun symbol. He affirmed that the steadfast dedication of grassroots cadres remains the greatest bulwark against political opportunism.
