Many of our newly emerged TN leaders are doing 'mosadi' chanting Modi's name.
Exposing the superficial opportunism eroding state politics, DMK Treasurer M. K. Stalin on April 7, 2014, warned the people of Tamil Nadu against newly emerged regional politicians who were engaging in blatant public fraud by chanting Narendra Modi's name to garner votes. Stalin pointed out that these self-styled leaders lacked any coherent ideological foundation, grassroot track record, or concrete development blueprint for Tamil Nadu, relying solely on an orchestrated media blitz to market a northern political persona in Dravidian soil. He described this desperate tactic as a deceitful confidence trick intended to obscure the BJP's anti-federal, majoritarian agenda and the state's legitimate socio-political concerns. Stalin reminded citizens that Tamil Nadu's historic advancements in education, healthcare, industrialization, and social justice were achieved through decades of rationalist, Dravidian reform led by Thanthai Periyar, Perarignar Anna, and Dr. Kalaignar Karunanidhi, not through borrowed communal slogans. He urged voters to see through the deceptive posturing of these opportunistic politicians and reject their false promises. Stalin affirmed that Tamil Nadu will firmly uphold its self-respect by voting for the Rising Sun symbol. He affirmed that Tamil self-respect will never succumb to borrowed communal slogans.
