Leading a determined campaign across Thiruvannamalai parliamentary constituency on April 10, 2014, DMK Treasurer M. K. Stalin rallied voters to secure an overwhelming victory for DMK candidate C. N. Annadurai. Addressing large gatherings of agricultural laborers, groundnut farmers, local traders, and youth, Stalin emphasized that electing an energetic, dedicated grassroots leader like C. N. Annadurai would ensure that Thiruvannamalai's developmental priorities and water security are vigorously advocated in the Lok Sabha. He pointed out that the AIADMK administration had completely neglected regional irrigation infrastructure, failing to desilt ancient temple tanks or complete vital drinking water networks for drought-prone villages. Stalin recalled the monumental developmental initiatives executed under previous DMK administrations led by Dr. Kalaignar Karunanidhi, including the world-class Thiruvannamalai Girivalam roadway, government medical college, and massive farm loan waivers. Addressing cheering crowds along the route, Stalin urged the electorate to cast their ballots on the Rising Sun symbol to restore agricultural prosperity, create youth employment, and ensure civic modernizations. Stalin affirmed that the DMK stands permanently committed to Thiruvannamalai's comprehensive development and public welfare. He affirmed that agrarian development and pilgrim infrastructure remain top priorities for Thiruvannamalai.
