Stalin on April 18, 2014, noted that the comprehensive poll conducted by reputable Tamil journal Nakkeeran projected a clear and decisive electoral mandate for the DMK alliance. Stalin asserted that these survey outcomes confirmed what he had witnessed directly during his forty-day tour across all forty parliamentary constituencies—an overwhelming popular desire to end AIADMK misgovernance and elect a responsive, secular leadership. He stated that the survey served as an unmistakable warning to Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa's administration and opportunistic political alignments that citizens will no longer tolerate broken promises, unannounced blackouts, agrarian distress, and rampant corruption. Stalin emphasized that while public opinion polls were highly encouraging, party workers must not succumb to complacency. He called upon every booth agent, ward secretary, and youth volunteer to intensify door-to-door outreach right until polling day, ensuring high voter turnout and safeguarding polling booths from ruling party malpractices. Stalin reaffirmed that the DMK will translate this democratic mandate into transformative welfare and economic progress for Tamil Nadu. He affirmed that genuine public trust remains the greatest inspiration for party cadres.
