Challenging the state administration to defend its record through verifiable facts, DMK Treasurer M. K. Stalin noted that effective law enforcement requires empowering field-level officers, modernizing investigation wings, and ensuring strict judicial prosecution without partisan political meddling. He stressed that previous DMK governments under Dr. Kalaignar Karunanidhi demonstrated how firm political will and specialized police units could curb rowdyism and safeguard civic peace. Calling for an open, evidence-based discussion, Stalin affirmed that the DMK would continue pressing for complete police accountability until the state government instituted meaningful measures to protect every citizen's life and property.
