DMK Treasurer M. K. Stalin participated in an executive meeting of the Tamil Eelam Supporters Organisation (TESO) held at party headquarters Anna Arivalayam in Chennai on August 26, 2014. Presided over by DMK President and TESO chief Dr. Kalaignar Karunanidhi, the high-level meeting brought together key coalition leaders, legal experts, and human rights advocates to assess the evolving political crisis in Sri Lanka and formulate decisive resolutions regarding the rights of ethnic Tamils. The committee extensively discussed the continuous militarization of Tamil-majority provinces in Sri Lanka, the ongoing land confiscations, and the lack of genuine progress toward political devolution under the 13th Amendment. Addressing the forum, Stalin reiterated that the DMK and TESO remain resolutely committed to ensuring international accountability for war crimes and advocating for an impartial global investigation under the auspices of the United Nations Human Rights Council. The meeting adopted comprehensive resolutions urging the Indian Union government to adopt a robust, proactive stance on the world stage and demand equal citizenship, dignity, security, and democratic autonomy for Sri Lankan Tamils, reaffirming the Dravidian movement's enduring international solidarity.
