Leveraging modern digital technology to empower grassroots party workers, DMK Treasurer M. K. Stalin announced on September 6, 2014, the introduction of a novel Cadre in Action feature on his newly revamped official website. This innovative digital platform enables party cadres from every village, ward, and district across Tamil Nadu to upload photographs, reports, and real-time updates detailing their community outreach and civic service initiatives. Stalin highlighted that grassroots functionaries perform tireless social service—organizing blood donation camps, cleaning public water bodies, coordinating disaster relief, and representing neighborhood grievances—often without adequate public acknowledgment. Through this interactive tool, their dedicated efforts will gain statewide visibility, fostering mutual encouragement and institutional transparency across all party levels. Stalin noted that connecting digital tools with field-level activism modernizes political communication, allowing district and state leadership to track local initiatives systematically. He urged active workers, youth organizers, and student members to utilize this digital portal effectively to document their service, engage with local citizens, and demonstrate the DMK's enduring commitment to constructive public welfare, community upliftment, and accountable democratic governance throughout all regions of Tamil Nadu.
