Editorial context

DMK Treasurer M. K. Stalin participated in the prestigious annual Mupperum Vizha celebrations held at party headquarters Anna Arivalayam in Chennai on September 15, 2014. The grand event, which simultaneously commemorates the birth anniversary of Dravidian patriarch Thanthai Periyar, the birth centenary traditions of DMK founder Perarignar Anna, and the founding day of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, was presided over by DMK President Dr. Kalaignar Karunanidhi. Addressing senior party leaders, district secretaries, and thousands of enthusiastic cadres who gathered from across Tamil Nadu, Stalin paid homage to the guiding principles of duty, dignity, and discipline established by the founding stalwarts of the Dravidian movement. He highlighted that the DMK's enduring strength lies in its deep ideological roots and steadfast dedication to social justice, state autonomy, and secular harmony. The Mupperum Vizha served as a major forum for evaluating organizational preparedness, recognizing veteran leaders with prestigious party awards, and energizing grassroots functionaries ahead of forthcoming democratic challenges. Stalin urged party workers to remain completely united, take the party's historic welfare achievements directly to citizens' doorsteps, and strengthen neighborhood outreach across the state.

This is an initiative of unofficial DMK and Dravidian Ideology supporter, a fan of Thanthai Periyar, Perarignar Anna and Kalaignar — not affiliated with any official DMK party or persons.
