Making a statesmanlike appeal in the larger interest of public welfare, DMK Treasurer and Kolathur MLA M. K. Stalin urged the ruling AIADMK government not to allow narrow political differences to stall crucial developmental initiatives designed for the greater good of Tamil Nadu's citizens. Stalin pointed out that multiple major infrastructure projects, including urban flyovers, drinking water supply schemes, healthcare centers, and educational buildings initiated during previous DMK governance, had been deliberately frozen or starved of funds simply because they were conceived by an opposition administration. He argued that public funds belonging to taxpayers should never be squandered due to petty partisan vendettas, noting that developmental continuity is essential for the economic advancement and civic well-being of the state. Stalin observed that abandoning vital projects directly inflicts severe traffic congestion, economic losses, and civic hardship on ordinary citizens who depend on modern infrastructure. He called upon the state government to demonstrate administrative maturity and constitutional responsibility by immediately releasing allocated funds, removing bureaucratic hurdles, and expediting the completion of all stalled developmental projects across Chennai and other districts without further delay.
