Sharply condemning the ruling AIADMK government for gross administrative negligence that cost Tamil Nadu a transformative industrial opportunity, DMK Treasurer M. K. Stalin revealed that the state could have emerged as a premier global manufacturing hub for Apple's iPhone, creating over eighty thousand high-quality jobs for educated youth. Stalin exposed that despite international electronics manufacturers actively seeking to establish large-scale manufacturing facilities in Tamil Nadu, former Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa repeatedly refused even to grant an official meeting to senior corporate executives. Consequently, frustrated global investors were forced to explore alternative manufacturing destinations outside the state, dealing a catastrophic blow to Tamil Nadu's industrial prestige and employment generation. Stalin pointed out that during DMK governance, proactive leadership, swift clearances, and world-class industrial corridors attracted global electronics giants like Nokia, Dell, and Hyundai, turning the state into an industrial powerhouse. He slammed the AIADMK's arrogance and bureaucratic paralysis, asserting that turning away mega-investments is an unforgivable betrayal of unemployed youth. Stalin pledged that a future DMK administration will restore investor confidence, implement single-window industrial approvals, and aggressively pursue global manufacturing investments to create millions of skilled employment opportunities across Tamil Nadu.
