Highlighting serious representations received from women's Self Help Group members across districts, DMK Treasurer M. K. Stalin condemned the AIADMK administration for systematically withdrawing vital facilities established during the previous DMK government. The women conveyed that essential institutional benefits, including subsidized revolving funds, low-interest bank loan linkages, and comprehensive skill development training, had been abruptly suspended or severely curtailed under the ruling regime. Stalin pointed out that these progressive support mechanisms, introduced under the flagship Mahalir Thittam during DMK governance, had enabled millions of underprivileged rural and urban women to launch micro-enterprises and achieve self-reliance. By starving these grassroots groups of financial assistance and official encouragement, the AIADMK government had pushed vulnerable women back into the clutches of private loan sharks charging exorbitant interest rates. Stalin termed the government's callous indifference an unforgivable betrayal of women's welfare and social progress. He demanded that the state administration immediately restore the full disbursement of revolving funds, mandate commercial and cooperative banks to issue interest-subsidized credit, and revive specialized entrepreneurship training programs across all rural blocks of Tamil Nadu without delay, restoring dignity and financial security to rural families.
