Do the ADMK ministers realize that the world is watching them & they are humiliating TN by bowing & prostrating at the feet of a convict?
Sharply condemning the servile behavior of AIADMK cabinet ministers, DMK Treasurer M. K. Stalin asked whether state ministers realized that the entire world was observing their conduct and that their public prostrations before a convicted individual deeply humiliated Tamil Nadu. Stalin highlighted that constitutional office-bearers, sworn to uphold the majesty of the Constitution and the law, had completely abandoned institutional self-respect by weeping, bowing, and prostrating before portraits of a politician convicted of massive corruption by a special court. He pointed out that Tamil society possesses an illustrious heritage of self-respect, rationalist dignity, and egalitarian values pioneered by Thanthai Periyar and Perarignar Anna, which rejects obsequious idol-worship and blind subservience. Witnessing an entire cabinet reduce the machinery of government to a platform of personal veneration for a convicted leader degraded the constitutional standing of Tamil Nadu in the eyes of the democratic world. Stalin urged the ministers to remember their constitutional oaths and prioritize the welfare of seventy million citizens over feudal sycophancy, demanding that they govern responsibly or step down immediately to prevent further debasement of Tamil Nadu's constitutional standing and democratic dignity.
