Sharply condemning the national leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party for mocking the democratic intelligence of citizens, DMK Treasurer M. K. Stalin exposed the brazen hypocrisy behind the ruling party's anti-corruption rhetoric. Stalin noted that while Prime Minister Narendra Modi and senior union ministers routinely proclaimed a zero-tolerance policy toward administrative corruption, their clandestine political actions told a completely contrary story. By actively pursuing opportunistic political understandings with convicted politicians facing serious corruption charges, the BJP had exposed its willingness to compromise constitutional morality for immediate parliamentary convenience. Stalin stated that such unprincipled political maneuvers insulted the law-abiding citizens of Tamil Nadu, who expect national leaders to uphold the majesty of judicial verdicts. He emphasized that the Dravidian movement has always maintained that political expediency must never triumph over ethical principles and democratic accountability. Stalin warned that opportunistic political alliances forged to bypass legislative obstacles would ultimately be rejected by the discerning electorate. He called upon progressive forces across the country to expose the BJP's double standards and resist the dangerous degradation of political integrity in India's democratic landscape across the country.
