Sharing the Tamil version of his official birthday appeal ahead of his sixty-second birthday, DMK Treasurer M. K. Stalin made an earnest plea to party functionaries and cadres across Tamil Nadu to abandon wasteful celebratory expenditures. Stalin firmly requested that instead of erecting extravagant hoardings, burst firecrackers, or printing expensive advertisements, party workers should direct their financial resources toward sponsoring the educational expenses of underprivileged girl children in their respective neighborhoods. He emphasized that the Dravidian movement was founded on the transformative principle that educating women is the most effective weapon against social backwardness, economic dependence, and systemic inequality. Stalin recalled how Dr. Kalaignar Karunanidhi pioneered revolutionary schemes, including free education for first-generation graduates and marriage assistance tied to educational attainment, to empower women across the state. He urged cadres to identify impoverished female students who face the risk of dropping out due to financial constraints and provide them with school fees, textbooks, uniforms, and educational materials. Stalin asserted that supporting a disadvantaged girl child's education represents the greatest gift his supporters could offer him on the occasion of his birthday.
