Extending warm International Women's Day felicitations to all women across Tamil Nadu and beyond, DMK Treasurer M. K. Stalin invited women from all walks of life to directly share their perspectives, grievances, and aspirations with him. Stalin affirmed that the DMK is actively listening to women's voices, emphasizing that responsive policymaking begins with understanding the lived realities of homemakers, working professionals, students, and rural agricultural laborers. He noted that while the state was once celebrated as a pioneer in social welfare, recent years under the AIADMK administration had seen rising crimes against women, weakening of self-help group programs, and inadequate basic healthcare and sanitation amenities. Stalin invited constructive suggestions on workplace safety, educational scholarships, entrepreneurship credit, and affordable childcare infrastructure, assuring that their feedback would directly inform the DMK's comprehensive welfare policies and upcoming election manifesto. He underscored that women are not merely passive beneficiaries of state welfare but central drivers of economic growth and societal progress. Stalin concluded by reiterating his party's unshakeable commitment to empowering women, ensuring their dignified participation in political decision-making, and securing equal social justice across every sphere of life.
