First day of two month long 'Pesalam Vanga', a new initiative to meet Kolathur residents in every locality and solve their civic problems.
Marking the commencement of his intensive two-month grassroots outreach initiative titled Pesalam Vanga across his Kolathur constituency in Chennai, DMK Treasurer M. K. Stalin reaffirmed his dedication to citizen-centric public service. Stalin designed the participatory outreach campaign to interact directly with constituents across every street, lane, and locality, creating an accessible platform for residents to voice pressing municipal grievances. During the first day of the program, hundreds of local citizens presented representations regarding irregular drinking water distribution, overflowing sewage drains, damaged roads, inadequate street lighting, and delays in obtaining ration cards. Stalin listened attentively to their concerns, noting specific complaints and assigning dedicated coordination teams to pursue solutions with municipal authorities. He emphasized that genuine public leadership demands continuous presence at the grassroots rather than sporadic electoral appearances. Stalin criticized the ruling AIADMK government for systematically starving opposition-held constituencies of municipal funds and developmental attention. He assured the residents of Kolathur that despite administrative neglect by the ruling dispensation, he would work tirelessly through grassroots mobilization and civic advocacy to resolve community problems and upgrade essential neighborhood infrastructure throughout the entire constituency.
