Agri Krishnamurthy claims Jayalalitha is aware of his misdeeds in Muthukumarasamy's suicide case. That's why DMK insists on a CBI inquiry.
Citing startling revelations that former Agriculture Minister 'Agri' S. S. Krishnamurthy claimed top AIADMK leadership was fully aware of illegal transactions in engineer S. Muthukumarasamy's suicide case, DMK Treasurer M. K. Stalin demanded a CBI investigation. Muthukumarasamy, a respected Executive Engineer in the Agricultural Engineering Department, had died by suicide after facing relentless extortion and political pressure to manipulate department driver appointments. Stalin stated that Krishnamurthy's disclosures during investigation confirmed that extortionate recruitment rackets were operated with the knowledge and protection of the highest echelons of the ruling party. He argued that the Tamil Nadu CB-CID, operating under state government control, could never conduct an impartial investigation against powerful ruling politicians who retained immense administrative influence. Stalin emphasized that only an independent probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation under the direct supervision of the High Court could uncover the complete network of bribery and administrative extortion. He reiterated the DMK's steadfast resolve to secure justice for Muthukumarasamy's bereaved family, vowing that the party would pursue legal and democratic avenues until all culpable figures, regardless of political stature, are brought to book.
