Expressing deep skepticism over the recurring delays surrounding the proposed Tamil Nadu Global Investors Meet, DMK Treasurer M. K. Stalin demanded that the state government immediately release a comprehensive white paper. Stalin questioned the AIADMK administration's claims of having secured seventy-six thousand crore rupees in investment commitments, asking why the government was concealing details of actual corporate agreements and investors. He raised sharp concerns regarding the expenditure of one hundred crore rupees of public tax revenues allocated for organizing and promoting the summit, demanding a forensic accounting of how those funds were utilized. Stalin highlighted that neighboring southern states were successfully attracting massive global manufacturing facilities, while Tamil Nadu was experiencing unprecedented capital flight and industrial plant closures due to power shortages and bureaucratic stagnation. He pointed out that repeated summit cancellations and date revisions had turned a vital economic initiative into an administrative mockery. Stalin demanded that Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam inform the public whether the Global Investors Meet would ever materialize or remain an empty publicity exercise designed to mislead the industrial community and unemployed youth across the state.
