Celebrating the remarkable academic achievements of hardworking students from across the state in June 2015, the DMK Youth Wing under the leadership of DMK Treasurer M. K. Stalin organized a grand felicitation ceremony in Salem. A total of 780 high-performing students who secured top ranks in the Class 10 and Class 12 state board examinations were honoured with certificates of excellence and substantial cash prizes amounting to 94.2 lakh rupees. A significant majority of the felicitated students hailed from economically disadvantaged rural households, government schools, and marginalized communities. Interacting warmly with the young achievers and their proud parents, Stalin emphasized that the Dravidian movement was founded upon the bedrock of universal educational empowerment and social justice. He recalled how visionary DMK administrations had eliminated entrance examinations, established regional universities, and introduced free bus passes to democratize educational access. Stalin encouraged the students to pursue higher academic degrees and professional excellence fearlessly, assuring them that the party would continue to support their aspirations to ensure bright, dignified futures for Tamil Nadu's younger generation and foster sustained educational progress across all districts of Tamil Nadu.
