DMK treasurer M.K. Stalin announced the formal release of the 'M.K. Stalin' mobile application on August 30, 2015, expressing sincere enthusiasm for establishing continuous two-way dialogues with citizens across Tamil Nadu. Sharing direct installation links and welcoming public engagement with the warm message 'I am listening,' Stalin urged people from all walks of life to share their ideas, grievances, and developmental suggestions directly through the interactive digital platform.

Stalin observed that while the ruling AIADMK government functioned with total opacity, keeping the Chief Minister inaccessible behind layers of police barricades and security cordons, true democratic leadership requires humility, accessibility, and active listening. The app provided tailored modules where ordinary citizens could submit evidence regarding local issues—such as non-functioning streetlights, contaminated drinking water, dilapidated rural roads, and administrative corruption—directly to his personal monitoring team.

Stalin stated that the suggestions received through the application would serve as vital ground intelligence to expose governmental negligence inside and outside the Assembly. He reiterated that the DMK's governance model will always be anchored upon citizen-centric dialogue, responsiveness, and grassroots empowerment throughout every district of Tamil Nadu.
