DMK treasurer M.K. Stalin issued an open invitation on September 7, 2015, calling upon college students, researchers, young working professionals, and innovative thinkers across Tamil Nadu to submit their transformative governance concepts and developmental visions through dedicated online portals. Stalin reiterated his personal pledge to listen carefully to the ideas and constructive criticisms shared by the younger generation.
Stalin emphasized that genuine democratic leadership must break away from traditional top-down political authoritarianism and actively embrace crowdsourced wisdom, participatory democracy, and digital citizen engagement. While the existing AIADMK administration operated behind closed doors with zero public accountability, the DMK sought to democratize policy formulation by empowering young citizens to articulate practical solutions for civic infrastructure, agrarian rejuvenation, environmental sustainability, and industrial modernization.
Stalin noted that thousands of ideas were already pouring in from every corner of the state and the global Tamil diaspora. He promised that the best suggestions would be integrated into the DMK's legislative agenda, affirming that youth-led innovation will serve as the guiding philosophy of the party's future governance model across Tamil Nadu in all the years ahead.
