Marking the ninth day of his historic Namakku Naame mass-contact initiative, DMK Treasurer M. K. Stalin traveled across the industrial, agrarian, and urban hubs of Dindigul district. Renowned for its traditional lock manufacturing, brass works, and commercial agriculture, Dindigul witnessed tremendous public enthusiasm as thousands of citizens lined village streets and town junctions to welcome Stalin. Eschewing formal VIP stages, he engaged directly with street vendors, college youth, women self-help groups, small traders, and industrial workers, listening to their unfiltered feedback on state governance and local infrastructure deficits.
Throughout his tour, Stalin noted that small lock manufacturing units and brass foundries were struggling under acute electricity crises, prohibitive taxation, and a lack of technological upgrades under the AIADMK regime. He emphasized that the overwhelming public response to Namakku Naame demonstrated a powerful collective desire for honest, responsive leadership across the state. Stalin reaffirmed that the DMK's forthcoming election manifesto would be directly informed by the ground realities and public aspirations witnessed in Dindigul, promising a revitalized industrial ecosystem, expanded civic amenities, and accountable, transparent democratic governance for the entire region.
