Reacting with deep shock and sadness to the coordinated terrorist massacres that struck Paris and Beirut in mid-November 2015, DMK Treasurer M. K. Stalin issued a strong condemnation of the horrific violence. Expressing profound sorrow over the tragic loss of hundreds of innocent lives and the injury of countless civilians, he conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and people of France and Lebanon. Stalin emphasized that such barbaric assaults on unarmed citizens, cultural venues, and urban neighbourhoods constituted a direct assault on global humanity, secular democracy, and universal peace. He declared that terrorism and ideological extremism have no place in a civilized world and urged democratic societies across the globe to stand united with resolute solidarity to defeat forces of hatred and violence. Stalin underscored that true global progress could only be achieved through tolerance, communal harmony, and mutual respect, calling upon progressive leadership worldwide to protect democratic pluralism and ensure safety, justice, and enduring peace for all human communities irrespective of geographical boundaries while rejecting extremist violence and defending inclusive humanitarian values that unite diverse societies across the modern democratic world.
