Inviting the legal fraternity and citizens across Tamil Nadu to engage in vital debates on judicial independence, DMK treasurer M.K. Stalin announced that he would address the prestigious Legal Professionals Conclave in the historic city of Madurai. Stalin requested advocates, law scholars, students, and democratic observers to tune in to the live digital broadcast of the proceedings, emphasizing that safeguarding the rule of law and constitutional morality requires open, transparent communication between political movements and the bar.

Stalin highlighted that the conclave was convened to address critical issues facing Tamil Nadu's legal community, including executive encroachment upon judicial autonomy, persistent neglect of basic court infrastructure, and the erosion of legal rights under the authoritarian AIADMK administration. He pointed out that while the incumbent regime sought to manipulate legal mechanisms for political persecution, the DMK had consistently championed the independence of the judiciary and the welfare of legal professionals. Stalin promised that his address would articulate a progressive charter of judicial reforms, including establishing a welfare trust for advocates, modernizing subordinate courts, and ensuring total institutional dignity for the bar across the state.
