Delivering a scathing condemnation of the systematic subversion of constitutional bodies, DMK treasurer M.K. Stalin attacked the ruling AIADMK for politicizing the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) by packing it with partisan political loyalists. Reacting to the controversial appointment of eleven new TNPSC members who had direct affiliations with the AIADMK legal and political apparatus, Stalin declared that the state government was deliberately transforming a prestigious constitutional recruiting agency into a branch office of the ruling party's headquarters.

Stalin pointed out that the TNPSC is constitutionally mandated to conduct impartial, merit-based recruitments for thousands of civil service posts, revenue officers, and executive magistrates who run the administrative machinery of Tamil Nadu. Handing over this crucial recruitment body to political functionaries severely undermined public trust and dealt a devastating blow to eighty-six lakh registered educated youth striving for government employment through fair competitive examinations. Stalin demanded that the Governor immediately revoke the partisan appointments in accordance with Supreme Court guidelines. He pledged that an incoming DMK government would purge corruption from recruitment commissions, ensure transparent selection of members with distinguished judicial and academic credentials, and restore meritocracy.
