Reaffirming the DMK's steadfast commitment to administrative justice and worker rights, DMK treasurer M.K. Stalin met with representatives of Makkal Nala Paniyargal, the dedicated rural welfare workers whose services were arbitrarily terminated by the vindictive AIADMK regime. Recalling his extensive interactions with these grassroots workers during the historic Namakku Naame statewide tour, Stalin expressed profound anguish over the immense socio-economic misery, poverty, and indignity inflicted upon thirteen thousand worker families simply because their jobs were created during previous DMK governance.
Stalin condemned the authoritarian mindset of Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, who repeatedly dragged the terminated workers through endless, punitive court litigations despite successive judicial orders upholding their right to employment. He pointed out that Makkal Nala Paniyargal had performed exemplary work in executing rural development programs, maintaining community infrastructure, and coordinating grassroots welfare delivery. Stalin explicitly pledged that immediately upon assuming office, an incoming DMK government would honor its solemn commitment to reinstate all thirteen thousand Makkal Nala Paniyargal with full service protection, fair wages, and dignified service terms. He declared that restoring their livelihoods was an inviolable matter of administrative honor for the DMK.
