Issuing a strategic organizational directive to mobilize grassroots democratic energy, DMK treasurer M.K. Stalin urged every member of the party's women's wing to spearhead a sustained, household-level outreach campaign across Tamil Nadu ahead of the 2016 assembly polls. Stalin instructed women cadres to personally visit at least one hundred households in their respective neighborhood polling booths, engaging directly with homemakers, working women, and young voters to explain the destructive consequences of five years of AIADMK misgovernance.
Stalin emphasized that women across the state bore the brunt of the ruling regime's disastrous policies, suffering from skyrocketing domestic commodity prices, escalating electricity tariffs, and the daily menace of state-promoted TASMAC liquor shops operating dangerously near residential areas and schools. He called upon party workers to effectively communicate the DMK's transformative welfare commitments, including total alcohol prohibition, comprehensive maternal financial assistance, free education for underprivileged girls, and low-interest microcredit loans for women self-help groups. Stalin asserted that the determination and political conviction of women cadres would play a decisive role in dismantling AIADMK misrule, inspiring them to carry the message of democratic change into every home.
