Standing steadfastly with rural school students and underprivileged youth striving to enter the medical profession, DMK treasurer M.K. Stalin urged the central government to immediately drop the proposed common national entrance examination for medical admissions. Stalin emphasized that imposing an arbitrary, standardized national examination would shatter the legitimate dreams of lakhs of rural and vernacular-medium students who lack access to expensive private coaching centers. He pointed out that Tamil Nadu had abolished entrance exams years earlier to democratize higher education and provide equitable access for meritorious students from marginalized backgrounds.

Stalin asserted that education must respect the federal principle and constitutional diversity of states, warning that a centralized entrance test would severely undermine state autonomy in public healthcare administration and educational policy. He criticized the ruling AIADMK for remaining passive and failing to mount a determined constitutional defense of Tamil Nadu's hard-won reservation framework. Stalin affirmed that the DMK would fight relentlessly across judicial, legislative, and political arenas to protect rural students' rights and preserve state rights, ensuring that access to medical education remains fair, inclusive, and socially equitable for all aspiring doctors.
