Undertaking a comprehensive election campaign across central Tamil Nadu, DMK treasurer M.K. Stalin addressed vibrant public gatherings in Karur and Tiruchirappalli, outlining concrete policy guarantees for educated youth and industrial workers. Stalin expressed deep concern over the massive scale of unemployment confronting the state, pointing out that lakhs of qualified graduates and polytechnic diploma holders were languishing without gainful work due to the AIADMK government's complete failure to attract manufacturing investments or expand public sector recruitment over five wasted years.
To empower young men and women, Stalin announced that the DMK would establish dedicated self-help groups for youth, providing subsidized entrepreneurship loans, skill training, and incubation facilities to launch innovative local ventures. He pledged that an incoming DMK administration would systematically fill more than three lakh vacant posts across government departments, state transport corporations, and municipal corporations through transparent, merit-based selection. Stalin also committed to completely overhauling the archaic state employment exchange network into dynamic career development centers offering counseling, corporate placements, and competitive exam training. He urged the youth of Karur and Tiruchy to lead the march for political change by voting for the DMK alliance.
