He announced the statewide revival and modernization of the pioneering Uzhavar Santhai farmers markets established by Kalaignar Karunanidhi, eliminating exploitative middlemen and connecting farmers directly with urban consumers. Stalin also committed to undertaking extensive, scientific desilting of rivers, supply canals, and irrigation tanks to harvest every drop of monsoon rainfall.
