Underlining the growing statewide wave for political change, DMK treasurer M.K. Stalin completed an intensive election campaign covering thirteen key assembly constituencies across Salem, Krishnagiri, and Dharmapuri districts. Addressing massive gatherings of farmers, youth, and women, Stalin warned citizens against falling for the deceitful promises and fabricated developmental claims propagated by Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. He highlighted that despite grand announcements, western Tamil Nadu had suffered comprehensive administrative neglect, severe agrarian distress, and stagnant industrial infrastructure throughout the AIADMK tenure.
Stalin pointed out that vital irrigation canals remained dry, horticultural growers faced catastrophic price collapses without cold storage support, and youth were forced to migrate due to chronic joblessness in the region. He presented the DMK alliance as the only credible force capable of restoring dynamic governance, promising regional economic packages, industrial corridor revival, and modern agrarian support systems tailored to local needs. The overwhelming public response throughout the campaign tour reflected widespread resentment against the ruling establishment's apathy. Stalin called upon voters across the western belt to unite behind the DMK to bring in an accountable, accessible, and progressive government for Tamil Nadu.
