DMK treasurer M.K. Stalin asserted that the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam is an egalitarian people's movement dedicated entirely to the socio-economic empowerment, democratic progress, and inclusive growth of Tamil Nadu, whereas the ruling AIADMK operates solely for the aggrandizement of a single corrupt coterie. Speaking at election campaign rallies, Stalin dismissed AIADMK's hypocritical allegations regarding family politics, asserting that the ruling party had forfeited any moral right to lecture others.
Stalin pointed out that while DMK leaders and cadres earned their political standing through decades of grassroots struggle, imprisonment under MISA, public agitations, and demonstrable administrative service, the AIADMK was completely controlled by an unconstitutional shadow coterie residing in Poes Garden. Under AIADMK rule, public resources, lucrative government tenders, mining leases, and state liquor distribution were monopolized to enrich a single household, while ordinary citizens suffered from economic stagnation and unemployment. Stalin emphasized that every welfare measure pioneered by the DMK, from free bus passes and farm electricity to women's property rights and IT parks, served the broader public interest. He stated that the people of Tamil Nadu recognized genuine democratic commitment.
Stalin called upon the electorate to reject AIADMK's dynastic cronyism and vote for the DMK's progressive, people-first agenda.
