DMK treasurer M.K. Stalin began his day with an informal morning walk at the Tower Park in Anna Nagar, followed by breakfast at Saravana Bhavan, interacting warmly with morning walkers, youth, and local residents before leading a whirlwind election campaign across key Chennai assembly constituencies. During his day-long tour, Stalin campaigned extensively across R.K. Nagar, Thousand Lights, and Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni, mobilizing massive public support for DMK and alliance candidates.
Engaging with citizens directly without political barriers, Stalin listened to their everyday concerns regarding rising prices, water scarcity, high power bills, and lack of employment opportunities. In R.K. Nagar, the constituency represented by Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, Stalin highlighted the acute neglect of basic civic amenities, garbage-strewn streets, and unfulfilled developmental promises. In Thousand Lights and Chepauk, traditional Dravidian movement bastions, he addressed packed street-corner gatherings, outlining the party's manifesto commitments including total liquor prohibition, farm debt relief, and women's self-help group revitalization. Stalin emphasized that real political leadership stems from humble, continuous public connect and listening directly to citizens' voices.
Stalin urged voters across Chennai to reject ruling party complacency and elect DMK legislators to ensure clean, responsive governance.
