DMK treasurer and Leader of Opposition M.K. Stalin extended his profound condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family, relatives, and colleagues of Dr. Saravanan Ganesan, following the promising young medical scholar's untimely and tragic death in New Delhi. Dr. Saravanan, hailing from a humble rural background in Tiruppur district, had achieved exceptional academic merit to secure admission into the MD program at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).

Stalin noted that the untimely demise of such a talented young physician represented an irreparable loss not only to his family, who had reposed immense hopes in his future, but to the entire medical fraternity and Tamil society. Describing him as an inspiring example of perseverance who overcame social and economic barriers to enter premier national academia, Stalin stated that the mysterious circumstances surrounding his death had shocked students and citizens across the state. He expressed solidarity with the student community and civil rights organizations demanding justice. Stalin assured the family that the DMK would stand steadfastly with them in their quest to uncover the truth.

Stalin prayed for strength and fortitude for the bereaved parents to bear the unfathomable grief of losing their son.
