Stalin demanded that the Tamil Nadu government immediately sanction comprehensive financial assistance and compassionate relief compensation to the affected families without bureaucratic delay. He pointed out that recurring industrial tragedies in Sivakasi and the Virudhunagar fireworks belt underscore severe deficiencies in administrative oversight, inadequate safety inspections, and non-compliance with statutory safety protocols. Stalin urged the state administration to conduct rigorous audits of all manufacturing units and godowns to enforce stringent safety norms, install modern fire protection mechanisms, and eliminate illegal storage of explosive raw materials.
