Stalin recalled that Panneerselvam was the sitting Chief Minister and was present within the secretariat complex when federal sleuths searched the top bureaucrat's office, yet he chose to maintain absolute silence and shield mysterious wrongdoing.

Stalin pointed out that Panneerselvam's failure to address the public or take decisive constitutional action demonstrated his total complicity in prevailing administrative corruption. Having presided over an administration where top executive offices were raided with paramilitary protection, Panneerselvam had now conveniently assumed the posture of an anti-corruption crusader for by-election campaigning. Stalin characterized this sudden transformation as political hypocrisy of the highest order, designed solely to deflect public scrutiny from his own ministerial record.

The opposition leader stressed that the people of Tamil Nadu easily recognize political deception. He insisted that true leadership demands uprightness, prompt action, and absolute transparency during institutional crises rather than opportunistic post-facto grandstanding.
