Editorial context

DMK working president M.K. Stalin appealed to the electorate of Dr Radhakrishnan Nagar on April 7, 2017, urging them to tear away the deceptive masks of divided ruling party factions who looted the state together and now pretend to be virtuous reformers. Stalin pointed out that both groups were equal partners in the corruption, policy stagnation, and administrative collapse that Tamil Nadu suffered over the preceding six years. He reminded voters that their sudden rivalry was driven solely by greed for executive power.

Stalin explained that the two factions shared identical records of misgovernance, broken promises, and indifference to public hardships. Neither faction offered a genuine vision for North Chennai's regeneration, job creation, or municipal modernization. Instead, both groups relied heavily on unaccounted cash and fraudulent emotional appeals to confuse the electorate. The opposition leader emphasized that mature voters could not be deceived by superficial disagreements between political operators who jointly presided over state decline.

Stalin affirmed that the DMK represents honest public service, progressive ideology, and transparent administration. He called upon voters to reject opportunist factions decisively and back the Rising Sun.

This is an initiative of unofficial DMK and Dravidian Ideology supporter, a fan of Thanthai Periyar, Perarignar Anna and Kalaignar — not affiliated with any official DMK party or persons.
